Hi folks! Time for a brand new feature! Now, you can stay up to date with what’s happening with our writers here at Ourcade Games. We’re gamers first and foremost, so this is a way to keep our readers abreast of what we’re doing: what’s good, what’s not, what’s skippable, and what’s a must-cop. Check it out!

Peagle – So with Uncharted 4 releasing on the 10th, I spent the next two days playing that and working on the review for the Ourcade. (cheap plug) Now that I’m finished with that, I’ll take a few days to play 2k as a buffer before I subject myself to the torture, frustration and the pure masochism that is Dark Souls 3. This is my first go with the Souls series, but I had enough tickets saved up at Dave and Busters to get it so…why not? I fully expect to hate and love everything about this game. You know, fun pain. After that, I’ll be purchasing DOOM and maybe Hitman. The episodic format is weird to me, but I’ve heard the game play is still solid. With that said, DS3 must be conquered. Pray for me everyone. Pray for me.

Norm – This week has been about one thing and one thing only for me: Running through the excellent remake of Ratchet & Clank for the PS4. While most people are probably running through the latest Uncharted (and rightfully so, that game looks dope) I’ve spent some much needed time revisiting a classic and experiencing the wonder I felt all those years ago. If you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s what you’re missing: An immersive world, an engaging story, a leveling-up system for the weapons that is EXTREMELY satisfying, and incredible visuals. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some more Blarg to kill before the weekend is out.

Ken – I’ve been running with Nathan Drake since his very first adventure, so it’s only right that this week’s main focus for me (and most other people who own PS4s) has been on playing through the FANTASTIC fourth entry in the Uncharted series. I’m refusing to rush it though – I’m in no hurry to finish what is one of my favorite franchises in Playstation history. So I’ve been dominating in multiplayer, as well as switching over to Dark Souls III every now and then to try and complete that final stretch toward completion. Throw in a little Final Fantasy IX on my cell phone for old time’s sake and you’ve got one hell of a week of gaming.
