Buying Guide (Mar 2016)

Man, this is a huge month. It feels like there are games dropping faster than I can type! I won’t waste any time…

Week of March 1, 2016

Mortal Kombat XL (PS4, XB1) – Mortal Kombat just got…..bigger? This is essentially MKX GOTY, except MKX wasn’t the GOTY. So, yeah. All of the post launch content is included, so those who were hesitant to give it a shot might change their minds with the added value.
Heavy Rain (PS4) – JASON! JASON!!!! I don’t care what anyone says, this was one of the best PS3 experiences I had. I can’t wait to play this again on PS4, and I STRONGLY urge fans of Until Dawn in particular to check it out. The story is awesome, and it does a great job of making you FEEL what the characters feel. Just go play it. For me.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Wii U) – One of the Wii’s crown jewels is getting the remaster treatment, and it looks damn good. So go pick it up if you’re a Zelda fan, or need a new game for the Wii U.
  • Far Cry: Primal (PC)
  • Alekhine’s Gun (PC, PS4, XB1)
  • Ironcast (PS4, XB1)
  • Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (PC)
  • Broforce (PS4)
  • Black Ops 3: Awakening DLC (PC, XB1)

Week of March 8, 2016

Tom Clancy’s The Division (PS4, XB1, PC) – Ubisoft’s highly anticipated multi-player *whispers* RPG launches early March. You can still qualify to win a copy from us, here.

Hitman (PS4, XB1, PC) – The return of Agent 47, in episodes. The first edition drops this month to the tune of $15 for the first episode only, and $50 for the entire season.

  • Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation (3DS)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon – Golgotha (PC)
  • Deathsmiles (PC)

Week of March 15, 2016

EA Sports UFC 2 (PS4, XB1) – New animations. New character models. And new KNOCKOUTS! The all new physics is set to give UFC fans what they want. More realistic KOs. I must say he game looks and handles really well based on the demo I played. Im sure UFC fans will enjoy it immensely.
Pokken Tournament (Wii U) – Its Pokemon, the way we always wished it could be. At least the way I always wished it could be. I’ve dreamed of a true POkemon fighting game since Stadium, and it’s finally here! I might “get this for my son” so I can play it.
  • Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (3DS)
  • Samurai Warriors 4 Empires (PS4, PS3, Vita)
  • Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice (3DS)

Week of March 22 to end of month:

Killer Instinct Season 3 (XB1, PC) – Just watch the damn video.

MLB The Show 16 (PS4) – You know the drill with this game. They focus on tightening the experience every year. This year the focus is controls and a revamped training system.

  • The Elder Scrolls Online: The Thieves Guild (PS4, XB1)
  • Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS)
  • Resident Evil 6 (PS4, XB1)

Alright #CadeGang, that about wraps this month up. See you in April!
