Gamescom 2014: Xbox Edition

Some of you may have missed the Microsoft Gamescom conference this morning, so heres what you need to know.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider is now an Xbox exclusive!

Thats right. It’s looking like we’re going to have a Tomb Raider Vs Uncharted showdown this generation, as the new Uncharted looks to have a similar release date. It has already been confirmed by the head of Crystal Dynamics that this will not be a timed exclusive. It also looks like it won’t be coming to PC either, but that may change in the future.

White Xbox One Vs 1 TB XBox One

Choose your bundle. MS has announced their Xbox one bundles for this holiday season. Their highlights are the white Xbox one with Sunset Overdrive ($399.99) or an Xbox One with a 1 TB hard drive and Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare ($499.99). Amazon link

Killer Instinct Season 2 comes out October 15th.

Season 2 of KI will play out similar to Season 1. The season will begin with 2 returning fighters, TJ Combo and Maya. Over the next few months, more fighters will be released alongside updates and a new interface. Pricing will also be the same. $20 for all the characters, $40 for all the characters, accessories, and KI2/Gold outfits, or simply purchase the characters at $5 each.

Quantum Break looks awesome!

Notably absent from E3 2014, we anxiously awaited something new from the IP that blew us away at E3 2013. It’s looking like a crazy mixture of Alan Wake and Max Payne. Lots of action and a whole lot going on at once. Here’s a gameplay link.

Other Quick Notes
